Book review
I have recently finished reading Torn Pages by Sally Grindley which is an amazing book! It is about an orphan called Lydia and her younger brother and sister fighting for survival. Every day Lydia wonders how she will feed her brother and sister. Lydia cannot afford the bills for school and there is never enough food. But Lydia is determined to help her siblings even though her Grandmother is trying hard to make life a challenge. Can Lydia and her family survive?

Lily Rose, this sounds a really good book to read! Another book by Sally Grindley is "Spilled Water". Both are on display on the library. I hope somebody will come and borrow them! Mrs Evans
ReplyDeleteI have also read spilled water and it is fabulous! Another book by her is Hurricane Wills but we don't have it in the library at the moment:(
DeleteI haven't read Torn Pages but I have read Spilled Water and it was amazing. I read it in one night and then read it again the next day. I can't wait to read the rest of her books.
